The Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) department at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay is dedicated to meeting the needs of its customers. Emphasizing innovation, the department takes pride in introducing new program ideas to enhance the entertainment, recreation, and fitness options for the contemporary military members, their families, retirees, civilians, and other authorized patrons. MWR Kings Bay boasts a remarkable track record, having earned the prestigious Commissions for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA) and achieving the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) Gold Medal twice, first in 2014 and again in 2022.
